E-waste management
Due to technological advancement, new and better electronic devices are being produced to replace old technology and on the other hand, rapidly phasing out old ones. This rapid product innovations and replacement, especially in ICT and office equipment, have given birth to "electronic gabbage" also known as electronic waste. The rapid growth in ICT has led to an improvement in the capacity of computers but simultaneously to a decrease in the products lifetime as a result of which increasingly large quantities of waste electrical and electronic waste generated annually.
| Our e-waste management process is carried out by competent technical personnel and ensures no parts of the computers we handle end up in garbage dumps or landfills, over and above generating employment and business opportunities. We offer the following services; |
E-waste Pick Up
We offer a pick up service for residential and commercial customers. A representative of our company will visit customers' places of residence or business and pick up e-waste items. We are also in the process of establishing drop off locations near residential estates, churches, institutions etc for ease of collection.
Electronic Waste Sorting and Dismantling
This process involves the de-manufacturing of the electronic waste. Materials such as keyboards, computers, answering machines, etc. are disassembled by our qualified personnel into component parts. The materials are then processed through laid-down procedures to ensure a complete environmental compliance.Electronics Refurbishing
Units and parts in good condition but not under our data protection agreement, if , are sent to our refurbishing facilities for repair and reuse.
